Local perspective since 1999

Jared arrived on St. John from Colorado in 1999 as a biologist and built a career that brings together his family background in real estate, construction management, building inspection, marketing and property management.

Today, he is a licensed Virgin Islands real estate broker, owner of Unique Island Assets, former president and current director of the St. John Board of Realtors. A University of Colorado graduate and former director and vice president of National Inspection Services, he brings a rare technical understanding to every property conversation.

Decades of hands-on construction, building inspection, tropical landscaping, property management and customer service experience allow Jared to see beyond a transaction. He has the vision to understand a home’s structure, evaluate its performance, recognize its care needs and transform a property into a performing asset. He is also a licensed 100-ton commercial captain, an artist and a musician, with deep community ties and a commitment to natural preservation and supporting the youth of St. John.

The feeling of home

Angie brings personal care and a discerning eye to the detailed aesthetics of the high-end properties we represent. Her work considers how a home lives, photographs and welcomes people—from furnishings and finishes to the small details that make every stay feel intuitive.

Through her designs, Angie helps owners refresh established villas, prepare new rentals and create spaces that feel elevated without losing the ease and character of St. John.

As part of our Property Management service, Angie also directs and hosts our villa walkthrough videos, guiding viewers through each home with the design knowledge, practical insight and eye for detail that bring its story to life.

Her eye connects beauty with performance, giving each property a stronger identity and guests a more memorable sense of place.

Keri

The welcome

Keri first visited St. John in 1991 and knew the Caribbean would one day become home. After years of returning to the islands, she moved to St. John in 2016 with a one-way ticket, a home on Bordeaux Mountain and her three dogs.

Her background in counseling psychology, family therapy and mediation gives her a natural ability to listen closely and understand what people need. As Guest Service Manager, Keri oversees the guest experience and works closely with our concierge and experience designer to guide guests from pre-trip planning through arrival and departure—with confidence, warmth and genuine island knowledge.

Her own favorite parts of St. John include scuba diving, snorkeling, boating and animal welfare work—the same connection to the island she loves helping guests discover.

Her work spans the website, villa presentation, social media, newsletters, advertising, photography direction and real estate campaigns—giving each property a distinct voice while keeping the larger collection cohesive.

Having lived on St. John and worked closely with its villas for years, Lauren approaches marketing with both an insider’s understanding and a traveler’s eye. She sees every home not simply as a listing, but as a story waiting for the right audience.
