New Moon Escape is the perfect St John Vacation rental for families with young kids. Perhaps the most affordable vacation rental on St John. Upstairs Has the master bedroom with King Bed and a small adjacent bedroom with 2 twin beds. Downstairs, the media room has a pull out couch with a memory foam mattress that can easily be converted into a 3rd private bedroom. Unlike many rentals in this price range, this home and pool are completely private on a half acre of tropical gardens and walking paths.  Fruit Trees and flowing palms lead way to jungle paths that enhance the magical natural environment.  Take a stroll to the forested hammock deck for a nap in the shade or stretch out on the pool deck and soak up the Caribbean sun!

“New Moon Escape is just that…a wonderful place to escape! This was my third time on island and the first time to go by myself. Absolutely the best place to stay by yourself and not worry about a thing! The bed was VERY comfortable…I never had a bad night’s sleep! I especially loved the screened porch and the pool deck. They were a great place to relax before and after hitting the beach. Of all the places I’ve stayed on island, this has to be my favorite! I loved the complete privacy of having the whole property to myself…no neighbors above or below and no sharing a driveway! This will definitely be my go to place to stay on island!”

“Very private place. Great pool. Gas grill is a plus. Laundry on site. We visit St John often, and love trying new places. New Moon Escape did not disappoint. “My husband and I had a wonderful stay. Its a very clean, secluded adorable cottage.We would definitely stay again. We are actually looking at our calendars so we can begin booking another stay. We really enjoyed the private pool after a long day of travel or after a day at the beach. The road is bouncy like others had said but we didn’t really have a issue with that once we found it. We did have a 4 wheel drive. The kitchen was well equipped and the ac kept it comfortable. I definitely give this 2 bedroom, 1-2 bath adorable cottage 5 stars.”

“My friend and I stayed for a week at New Moon Escape and had a wonderful time! The cottage is cozy and well-equipped with pretty much everything you need, including beach towels, extra linens, cookware, beach chairs, etc. The pool and deck were lovely and the screened-in porch was a nice place to enjoy our morning coffee. Communication with Jared was excellent and the check-in/check-out process was turnkey. The five-minute drive from the main road to the cottage was quite the adventure, but we thought it was fun. As others have stated, a 4-wheel drive vehicle is pretty much necessary. The cottage is just minutes from several restaurants and two small grocery stores. I highly recommend Dolphin Market - they have fresh produce as well as a nice selection of cheeses, crackers, hummus, etc. Overall, it was an amazing stay at New Moon Escape - highly recommend!”
